Au printemps 2009, Les Trois Accords terminent l’enregistrement de leur troisième album sous la direction de Gus van Go. Membre de la formation montréalaise Me Mom & Morgentaler, van Go a notamment signé la réalisation d’albums pour The Stills, Priestess et les Vulgaires Machins. Pour ce nouveau projet, l’alignement partant des Trois Accords a été modifié; Olivier Benoit se consacre désormais à la gérance du groupe. Dès le début de l’enregistrement, le mot d’ordre était donné : les garçons du quatuor devaient repousser leurs frontières et créer un album encore plus festif que les précédents. Ils apportent tout d’abord une profondeur supplémentaire aux textes et poussent l’exploration de leur écriture absurde vers de nouveaux horizons. De plus, en introduisant une instrumentation étoffée et en élargissant le spectre de leurs influences, Les Trois Accords livreront un album

REMOVERS is composed of seven individuals, including a singer who singles herself by her ease on scene and another singer who has both a unique style and a powerful voice.
